When I was a little girl, my grandmother told me how much I reminded her of my grandfather, who was an architect and a painter. And though I never met him—he was born in 1896 and had passed long before I was born – she saw in me a very creative and artistic side.

If I was grounded and could not watch TV, I would be drawing…for hours. Once the TV was allowed back on, I would keep drawing, and that’s how it all started. My dad made a few wooden kid-sized tables and scattered them around the house so I could draw whatever room they were in.

By the time I was 16, I kept myself busy by decrypting the ad pages of Elle Magazine of the past 20 years. At that point, the direction I was going to take for my life was clear. I graduated with a baccalaureate (art –literature, and philosophy) in 1996 and it was no surprise that I entered communication school and graduated a global master program in communication and advertising in 1999 at l'EFAP School of Communication in Brussels, Belgium.

Since 1999, I gained extensive experience in visual communication development, from startups to global corporations. I began my career as part of the team that successfully rebranded the Wall Street Journal for the European market, later implemented to the U.S. market.

Once in the U.S. in 2002, I worked for major global companies such as Lagardère, HFMUS and AGT International, building creative departments from the ground up. I also contributed to many creative departments in firms such as Time Warner Cable, the New York Sun and BBDO/Atmosphere.

In 2005, I started Bee Creative, focusing on branding small and mid-size business around my community and adopted the borough of Brooklyn. In the depth of the recession, I managed to develop the visual identity, ad campaigns and online presence of six global companies located between New York, Zürich, Berlin, The Hague, and the United Arab Emirates, working with very high-level executives and some of those country's top decision makers.

I like to take on challenges so bring on your project and let's see how we can take you to the next level.
